{Project Life} Mad dash to catch up
I got myself woefully behind with Project Life. The kind of behind that makes you just want to give up. But ... I don't want to give up, I want a finished album for 2013. So, I have been madly trying to catch up. I sat down this last weekend and did all my layouts for December. I still need to do October and November, and I'm planning on powering through those over the course of the next few weeks. Once I finish all the pages, I'm going to create either a 12x12 Blurb or Shutterfly book. For all these December these pages I used Just Jaimee's December 2013 Storyteller kit. As always, I tried to keep it simple. To remind myself what went on each week, I consulted the Momento App on my phone which aggregates all my social media feeds. Seriously, Momento is my favorite PL tool.
For December 1-7 I was traveling for work, so I have a combination of my photos from the road and Mike's photos from home.
December 8-14th I was back home and we had lots going on: field trips, a visit from Sue, lunch with friends, sewing projects, etc.
December 15-21 was filled with family time, Christmas preparations and Holiday merriment.
For my last group of pages I combined the week of December 22 with the last few days of the year (Dec, 29-31st), since I wanted to keep all of 2013 in one album. Since we were on vacation for the last part of the year, I just made two 12x12 collages of vacation pictures and called it good (I'm going to make a photo book from this trip, so I saw no reason to go into great detail with my PL spreads).
