Project Life: Getting started

Starting my second year of Project Life has been exciting. Exciting because I love the project and exciting because I get a second chance and doing it right. Right? By right I mean I can toss out some of the bad habits I picked up last year and adopt new, more efficient practices.

My biggest downfall in 2012 was not setting aside a specific day and time to work on putting my pages together. I assembled my weekly pages whenever I had time. and guess what? There were lots of week I didn’t have time, so I’d put off the process until later. And that’s exactly how I ended up falling behind. And when I’d fall behind I’d get frustrated, disappointed and generally cranky.

For 2013 I’ve decide to work on my pages each Sunday afternoon. I’d like to keep my production time to about an hour (hello timer), but realistically it takes me two to three. I’m okay with that, as I actually really enjoy the process.

Twice a month (2nd and 4th Wednesdays) I’ll be blogging about Project Life and what works for me over at the Two Peas in a Bucket Digital blog. Check out my first installment here.

Are you doing Project Life in 2013? Is this your first time? How have you prepared? If you’re a veteran, any advice? This week I linked up with The Mom Creative, a site filled with great Project Life inspiration.
