Week 2: A Photo a Day
Here's a look at Week 2 for 2011. As much as I resisted the whole a picture a day thingy ... I am finding I love it. I have enjoyed looking at the photos, but it's even better now that I've put together a layout with the week's photos. I can't wait to see the whole year.
So Week 2 consisted of more travel ... it's a busy month for me. Things should slow down in umm, February. Until then, I'm logging a lot of nights in hotels and racking up more frequent flier miles. We're already planning on where we're going to go on vacation with all of our points. Right now it's a toss up between the Bahamas and Puerto Rico. I'm sure we'll come up with a few other options in the weeks and months to come.
The layout (from left to right, top to bottom) ...
January 8: Cooper taking a nap at Nana's house.
January 9: Shelby with me at the grocery store, very early in the morning. Un-brushed hair and teeth! Yuck! But still, she's so cute.
January 10: Dinner, thanks to room service (Hilton Hotel, near DC)
January 11: Painting in my hotel room. Discovered water color crayons. AWESOME.
January 12: Working at Gannett/USA Today this week (and most of January)
January 13: Yummy tomato soup for dinner. I have a thing for tomato soup right now. Had it four nights in a row!
January 14: Shelby after she received an award at school. She was given the Principal's Award for improvement in writing! Shelby was one of only two children in all the first grade classes to receive such an award.
