The Perfect Park Day

We haven’t been to the park much lately. And if I’m being completely honest, it’s because I don’t like the park. The park is a ton of work. Chasing after my wild little boy and busy big girl; pushing them on the swings; making sure Coop doesn’t fall into the pond while feeding the ducks; supervising trips down the slide … it’s not relaxing at all. And frankly, all I want to do when I go to the park is sit on a bench, enjoy the sun, watch my kids play and CHILL. But, that ain’t happening! But since we had a day off today, I decided to try the park. It’s still a lot of work, but it’s getting easier. Coop can climb onto the play equipment all by himself now and Shelby is always willing to go down the slide with him. So though it’s still not a piece of cake, it’s not the worst thing in the world! And since both Shelby and Cooper had such a great time, it was worth it.
