{Simple Scrapper} Friday Night Lights
I'm not much of an event scrapper. I prefer to focus on little moments and feelings (whatever that means!). But every now and then there is an event that inspires me to get scrapping. This was the case when I looked over our photos from a recent trip to a University of Arizona football game. We took the kids to see the Arizona Wildcats play there first home game this season. It was a first for both kiddos. We introduced them to college football and the awesomeness that is Wildcat fandom — this was family fun time at its finest. We bought cheap seats. but we didn't care. It was so much fun. Cooper kept yelling things like "Kick them in the head." We had to explain to him that such behavior isn't allowed in football.
Journaling:
On a whim, Mike and I decided to take the kids to the first U of A football game of the season. Neither one of them had been to a college football game, so we thought it would be a fun Friday night family activity. We got the ultra-cheap seats, which are perfect for families with wiggly kiddos. Shelby’s favorite part was getting a new U of A shirt to wear to the game. Cooper loved cheering and shaking his pom-pom even though he had no idea what was going on. Mike enjoyed the game even though his alma mater (UNLV) got totally stomped by the Wildcats.
