I opened an Etsy shop

I'm SO excited to announce I opened an Etsy Shop: Kimberly Kalil Designs … For the Love of Typography.

Come on over and check it out. I'll be adding all sorts of new goodies in the next few weeks, including downloadable journaling cards. For now, the shop had some prints made from my mixed media art, as well as some typography-inspired art prints.

People who know me in real life know I love words; I love typography; and I love newspapers. My "real" job is in the newspaper industry. I love everything about newspapers. I love what they stand for. I love the smell of newsprint. I love the hustle and chaos of a newsroom. I love deadlines. I love newspapers. So, it's no surprise (and a natural extension), I find joy and relaxation in creating art that incorporates my love of words + typography + newspapers.
