Project Life: Life happens
Life happens and it makes it hard to keep up. And when it’s hard to keep up, what do you think I did? I reverted back to my old ways and my pages took forever to create this week. Ughh! Lesson learned. I need to follow a very strict workflow: open my photos, pick my stories, drop the keepers on onto my template and then close the “losers.” And just go to work. This week I’m traveling for business. When I had some time, I’d open Photoshop and pour over my photos, pick one, place it on a template and embellish it. And then I’d run out of time, so I’d have to close my document and come back to it. Then, I’d find some more time and do the same thing all over again. I did this on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and today. Yikes. That’s way too much time.
Anyway. Next week (this week really), I’m going to go back to setting timers, being strict and I might even start my pages before Sunday to see if that helps.
Without further ado … here are my pages for Week 8 (Feb. 17-23):
This week I’m also going to include two 8.5x11 inserts. I created some PDFs to help our newish nanny (she’s worked for us in other capacities for some time, but now she’s helping with the kids when I’m gone ) become more familiar with the kids routines. (I’m not posting them here, as they contain too much personal information.)
After I finished making these lists, I realized they are a great snapshot of their lives, right now. It shows Shelby’s school schedule, her homework schedule, her extracurricular activities, etc. It also lists the things the kids like to eat, which is ever changing. It has information about Coop like make sure his blanket and baby come home from preschool every day or he’ll be upset. It’s a slice of life for sure.
