Project Life: Just Another Week

Week six was kind of blah. I’ve been off the road since we got back from Disneyland and we’ve settled into a new routine (I’m rarely home for four weeks straight like this), and as a family we've embraced the ordinary and the simple that comes with that. It isn’t super exciting, not at all. While the mundane has been a welcome treat for us (whoo hooo, Mommy’s is home. A lot), I’ve found myself slacking on the memory keeping. I’ve been taking less pictures. I’ve been writing fewer notes. This made putting my Week 6 pages together a little harder. I had to be more creative (see the speech bubble over the toilet?)

What I’m gotten out of this process is that I need to make more of an effort. I can’t let days and days slip by without taking a few photos. I have to add a few notes about our lives each night, even if it’s only a sentence. If I don’t, then doing Project Life  becomes tedious and I don’t want that. Moreover, I found the more aware I am, the more grateful I am … and we can all use more gratitude in our lives, right?

Here are my pages for Week 6 (February 3-9, 2013):
