New layouts: Two Peas

Hello there. Happy Sunday. I hope you’re having a great weekend. I’ve been settling into life at home. I’ve been gone so much lately, I’m out of the loop on a lot of things and definitely out of practice being the primary care giver for my family. I’m easing into it. Taking lots of deep breaths. And giving myself permission to hide in the closet for five minutes if I get overwhelmed.

As part of my push to get back on track, I’ve been spending some time catching up on my creative team assignments. Today I have a layout to share that I created for Two Peas in a Bucket.

This is one of my favorite photos of me and one of my favorite friends, Sarah. She’s one of my Story Sisters. And we had the wonderful blessing of spending some time together a few weeks ago. I don’t scrap about my friends a lot, I think I feel “too old” to be scrapping about my friends. Whatever. That’s a silly self imposed rule. Shortly after I took this picture, I knew I wanted to scrap it. Then, I saw this new kit (Friendly from Polka Dot Pixels) at Two Peas in a Bucket and knew I found the perfect kit for the photo.

Journaling reads:

I wished on a star for a special friend. The Universe brought me you. I love you more than all the stars in the sky. I am blessed to call you friend.
