New layouts (a la The Daily Digi)

It’s almost the end of the month, which means if you still haven’t purchased the Digi Game for March … you only until tomorrow to get in on the action. I’ve said this before, but I love The Daily Digi and I love the offerings that come in the Digi Game/File. You can’t beat the deal .. it’s only $7.50 a month and if you sign up for a whole year it’s even less! I know, I’m biased. I’m on the creative team. But before I was on the creative team I was a paying member. And then I begged to be on the team. That’s how much I love this site, the concept and all the awesome kits they bring together each month.

Enough about that though. Here are some layouts I created with the March offerings.  This first layout might very well be my all time favorite layout. I love the colors of the kit (Karen Lewis' Just Another Day Kit). And I love the butterflies. Awesome. In addition to Karen’s awesome kit, I used the Hero font (my go-to font) and Pioneer Woman’s BW  Photoshop Action to tone the photo.

I also happen to adore this photo. I was taken in early December during our annual family photo shoot. I think it perfectly captures me and Shelby. If you’re in Southern Arizona, check out Generations Photography. Jenna is great and she did a fabulous job of chasing Cooper until she got the shot.

This second layout also features a photo from our family shoot with Jenna. It’s my absolute favorite from the session. It wasn’t staged. It was totally in the moment. Cooper wouldn’t stand still and as he was running around, I called him to me. When he got close, I crouched down to hug (and catch) him. Jenna watch the whole thing and got the most amazing shot. LOVE IT. And I’ll love it forever.

For this layout, I used a template from Missy Cato, which is included in the March 2012 Digi Game. I also used, the Hero Font and Crystal Wilkerson’s Room Collection (Chloe).

By the way … the April Digi Game will be out on Sunday and it’s amazing. Totally love it. I whipped out my creative layouts in no time using the kits provided. There is some seriously amazing stuff you won’t want to miss it.
