My favorite girl
She has colorful dreams

I think I'm in love. I adore, adore, adore this girl. The colors turned out even better than I thought they would and I just can't stop looking at her. Shelby really wanted her as her own, but she agreed to let me keep her as long as she got an extra one for her room (she has claimed three of the canvases so far).

Shelby and I stayed up late Friday night working on these girls. Betweens family outings and chores on Saturday and Sunday ...we were back at it. I am enjoying every bit of this class and creating our SheArt. I'm especially enjoying working with Shelby and creaitng with her. She really has a knack for design and color ... and she's only 6!

I'm in Asbury Park, NJ for a few days this week, but I can't wait to get home so I can get back to work on my girls. I have five more canvases in progress and would like to try and finish them up soon. I think I might make some girls for my sister and sisters-in-law. And then ... maybe I'll just make some mixed media canvases without girls, oh the possibilities (I'm thinking out loud here ... I should stop!).
