Abstract

Okay, so I'll level with you. When I saw the prompt for week 12 ... I was stumped. Abstract. Abstract? Really? Abstract? I'm not an abstract sort of person. Everything in my world and mind for that matter is quite concrete. To say this would be a stretch for me was an understatement. But, like every other prompt so far it made me think and as I went about my days, I looked for things I would consider "abstract."

Last Saturday we were at our local children's museum when I saw a pin wheel attached to a screen. Behind the screen was a wind machine, so the pin wheel was constantly spinning. I took a photo of the spinning pin wheel and then made it even more abstract by applying a filter to it in Photoshop.

Even for me, Miss Concrete, I was able to find some abstractness (is that a word?) in my life. It just goes to show you, if you open your eyes and are a little more willing to look for things then you might might be surprised at what you find.
