The Girl Effect

I bought a scrapbooking idea book (The Scrapbooker's Almanac)  the other day from Elizabeth Dillow.  On her site, she mentioned that she was going to donate a portion of the proceeds from her book sales to an organization called Girl Effect. I'd never heard of the group, so I Googled the group, went to its Web site and did a little research. I watched the video below ... and was brought to tears. As the mother of a little girl, I found this incredibly moving and profound. I want to be involved with this group and their misson.
