Day 19: The Tree is Up!!!

Journaling reads:

After much anticipation, our Christmas tree is finally up! We did things a little different this year. Instead of putting all the old, precious ornaments up (read: the ones, that if broken, would be missed), we put up some cheap ornaments I bought at Walgreens. We also added a ton of candy canes, since no one cares if those get taken off, broken or eaten. In the end, the tree looks beautiful and it feels like Christmas is really here.
