First Day, First Grade

Some how, not sure how it happened ... but I'm now the mother of a first grader. Shelby went back to school and is loving it. Well sort of. She loves seeing her friends again. She's happy to go to OMA, art class and do math. The rest of first grade isn't so cool.

According to Shelby, "First grade stinks. Kindergarten was fun. In first grade they make you sit longer and it's boring." Let's hope things change (she's already saying things are better, but she's reserving her final judgment).
