Cooper @ 15 months

Sweet little Cooper turned 15 months old on Sunday. I feel like the time is really flying by. I'm not sure how I feel about this. On one hand it's so much fun to see him become a big boy doing all the things big boys do. He walks like a champ. He's babbling all the time. He is repeating words and sounds (quack is a big one ... this morning when I was patting him on the back and saying "pat, pat" he said pat, pat back to me). When I tell him various sounds animal makes he tries to repeat them, his current favorite is the sound of a pig. He snorts like a little piggy.

I'm also sad to see my baby stop being a baby. He still loves to cuddle and certainly his mommy is his favorite person ... but I'm quite certain Cooper is the last baby I will be having (if we have another we want to adopt, but that's a different discussion), so in that sense it's sad to let my baby go.

Every day I am reminded what a precious blessing Cooper is in our lives. He is so easy going and has such a go-with-the-flow attitude that he can go anywhere and do anything. He will let his sister do anything for him and loves all the attention she showers on him.

I don't think we could have had a more perfect baby for our family at this time in our lives. He sleeps like a champ. Will eat anything. And is always, always happy. He completes our little circle.

A few things to know about Cooper right now. He has a whole mouth full of teeth. He just got his k9's and some of him molars. He can run as well as he can walk. He is signing so well. It tickles me pink whenever he speaks to me with a sign. It's absolutely amazing. I'm so glad we decided to teach him a few important signs.

Coop goes back to the doctor this week for his 15-month well baby visit so I can add his stats this weekend.
