Family Night

Last night was family night and we took the kiddos to Johnny Rockets for dinner. We figured it was loud enough that if either child had a melt down, no one would notice! Plus, we thought Shelby would like the atmosphere and the milkshakes (she did!). Johnny Rockets is right near the university in a cool shopping district, so we also got to walk around, window shop and enjoy the great weather.

We've committed to doing something special as a family each week and I've really been enjoying the time we spend together. Shelby loves family time and especially loves it when she gets to pick. After the chocolate malt (she ate mine, since she said she didn't like her strawberry shake) she had at Johnny Rockets, I'm sure she'll be picking JRs again in the future!

Meanwhile, Cooper slept through the whole thing!!
