Went to the hospital ...
and then came home without a baby

So we had a false alarm. I'll spare you all the details, but we went to the hospital this morning thinking we were going to have a baby. Got there and after lots of test and monitoring, they sent us home. All is well with me and with the baby. They said if it had been Saturday and I was officially "full term" they would have kept me and done things to help promote labor. But since I was a few days short, they can't promote labor without the mother or child being in danger (insurance companies frown on that). So, since we checked out okay, they sent us home.

Who knows, maybe we'll be back on Saturday :) Or maybe he'll stay in there for a few more weeks! My vote is for sooner, rather than later.
