A weekend outing

We went to the park today, in spite if the stinking hot weather. Really, I feel like I'm going to melt. The last week has actually been worse (I think), maybe because it's almost October and still hovering near 100 degrees!


Not thinking, we didn't head over to the park until noon ... about the time it got REALLY hot. We should have went first thing in the morning, but we were feeling lazy and couldn't get going! Not that Shelby minded ... she played at the playground, fed the ducks and got a snow cone. Fun was had by all.

I had to add this last photo 'cause Shelby looks so pretty in it ... and so big. She seems all grown up these days.
