I finally finished!

I started this little project for Shelby's room months ago. I'd been working on it whenever I had free time. I feels like it took forever, but it's finally done ... and I love it. I'm really happy with the way it turned out and it adds so much to Shelby room. With this addition, her room is finally done.

It's kind of hard to tell, but I started with a pure white (it looks yellow in the picture) canvas from Michael's and then painted various shades of pink and purple on it. Then I treated it like a normal scrapbook page and just went to town. I used pictures of Shelby from this year and ones that really represent her personality.

I took a class at my local scrapbooking store today. I was my first ... and I'm so glad I did it. They had two workshops presented by guest designer Tena Sprenger, and I took both. I completed two awesome albums, and I plan in recreating them for future presents. The best part of the day was I met a bunch of cool ladies (Alex, Cristin, Theresa and Jacqueline), who I hope will become some of my Tucson friends. Kimberly is in desperate need of some local amigas!
