I totally want to do this ...

In today's Arizona Daily Star there was a story in the Vamos! section about the Grand Canyon Railway and the holiday Polar Express.

The article says, "The nighttime adventure begins when families board historic Pullman passenger cars and are transported from Williams to the "North Pole" Christmas light village.
Once there, the families are greeted by Santa Claus and his reindeer. A reading of the children's holiday story by Chris Van Allsburg, personal visits with Santa, hot chocolate and warm chocolate-chip cookies will be served, and a jingle bell for each child (to signify their belief in Santa, according to the book) round out the approximately hour-long voyage. Trips depart almost daily at 6:30 and 8 p.m. Nov. 8 through Jan. 12. "

I so want to do this. Check out the website, www.thetrain.com. Click on the Polar Express tab ... there are over night packages as well, if it's too long of a drive to do it in one day. It checked at it's just over 4 hours from Tucson AND Rio Rancho, NM (hint, hint Amy).
