Hangin' at the Park

Had a little family time at the park today. All four of us (Mommy, Daddy, Shelby and Cassius) went to a park not too far from our house. The park has a nice grassy field for Shelb and Cassius to run on and a long walking trail that surrounds the park that Cassius likes to trot on.

This was one of the few times I was able to get Shelby to wear something other than her pink cowgirl boots (I told her it would be too hard to climb in them, so she'd have to wear different shoes). She did bring them in the car with her and changed in to them when we were done at the park.

There was a little boy named Marshall at the park. He was a bit shy, but Shelby walked right up to him, introduced herself and invited him to play with her.

I got a pretty good workout walking Cassius around the park. At one point, he took off running across the field and took me with him. He wore me out!

Daddy is the official family photographer and he got all of these great shots of Shelby while she was playing.

As you can see from the smile on her face, Shelby LOVES the slide. She went down the slide over, and over, and over again! It never gets old for her!
