Home of the Braves
Our weekend getaway continued in full force as we headed south back to Metro-Atlanta and Turner Field to see the Braves squashed by the Detroit Tigers. We parked our car at a MARTA station and took the train in, which was an adventure in and of itself. Then we hopped on a Braves' Shuttle and finally made it to the stadium. We waited to buy tickets until three days before the game, so we were stuck in right field, under the sweltering Atlanta sun. No worries, it was still a ton of fun. And even though the Braves weren't victorious, we cheered our little hearts out for them.
Here we are, trying to take a picture of ourselves. Not centered, but at least we're smiling. Another successful date night (actually, date afternoon)!
The view from our great, and somewhat cheap seats.
