Project Life: Limping along

Hello there. How’s it going? I had a great weekend. It was full of laziness and family time, which is exactly what I needed. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m in a slump. Up until about a month ago, I was creating every single day. I was on three different creative teams and with all my assignments and personal crafting, I needed to be working on something each and every day. I’m done to a single creative team (The Daily Digi) and with less required crafting, I’ve slowed down a bit. I think I needed a break. I needed a break from everything, including Project Life.

I’m slowly starting to figure out what’s going to work for me creatively. I have a huge freelance graphic design job that’s taking up a lot of my creative time and I’m loving it. It’s different. It’s new. It’s fun. And it’s challenging me in different ways than many of previous creative projects have. Since I’m pouring a lot of my creative juices into that project at the moment, I’m not doing a whole lot of scrapping. That’s okay with me. The break has been good for me and has made me feel more creative. I did manage to get a week of Project Life done. So, I’m still behind, but I’m limping along. And I’m totally cool with it.

For simplicity's sake, I stuck with pretty much one kit and my standard fonts. Here’s a look at my most recent set of pages for Week 12 , March 17-23, 2013:

Are you doing Project Life in 2013? What do you love most about it? What’s the hardest part of the project for you? This week I linked up with The Mom Creative, a site filled with great Project Life inspiration. If you have any questions about the supplies I use on my pages, please send me an email. I’ll gladly give you a list of credits.
