{Free} Template Tuesday: Speech Bubble

Maybe it’s a trend that won’t stick around. But frankly, I  don’t care. I readily admit I love speech (and thought) bubbles. I’ve been using them on layouts a lot the last few months; and though I might look back on them later and think “Yuck, those things were so trendy,” right now, they make me smile.

Here’s this week’s template. It’s super simple (something I’m digging right now) and puts the emphasis on the photo or photos (also something I’m totally digging at the moment).

And here’s the layout that inspired the template:

Journaling reads:

While in Idaho, we went up to Miss Debbi's house to feed the chickens. You were beyond thrilled to have them eat right out of the palm of your hand.  (July 2012)

These photos might just be my favorite from this summer. They capture the essence of Cooper: adventurous, full of life and fully present in the moment. He was so willing to try anything on our trip to Idaho from feeding the chickens and swimming his little heart out to petting the horses and hiking with Papa. He soaked up all the experiences and relished each moment. I want to be like him when I grow up.
