Permission
This week I am giving myself permission …
Permission to be behind. I haven’t finished this week’s printable yet. I started it, but it’s just not coming together as quickly as I’d like. I haven’t done this week’s free template either. Same deal. I started it, but it’s just sitting, languishing. Project Life? Nope, that’s not done either. In fact, I haven’t done last week or the week before. I haven’t even started either of them.
Permission to relax. I’m tired. Really, really tired. This week marks my fifth week of travel and though last week’s travel was for fun, I’m super-duper exhausted. This week -- though I have lots of work to do -- is also going to be filled with extra sleep; book reading; movie watching; and writing.
Permission to connect. I spent the last week in Portland and on the Oregon Coast. I was blessed to attend Your Story Retreat for the second year in a row. It was intense. It was soul nourishing. It was profound. It was so good. The best part of the retreat is the sisterhood that comes from it. I’m blessed to call some amazing women my friends and our time together was nothing short of amazing.
Permission to dream. I have a big, big dream. I’m working out the logistics of making this dream come true. This week I’m going to start taking a few baby steps to making this dream come true.
Permission to seek joy. I can be pretty serious and uptight. I can lose sight of the big picture. This week I’m going to make a greater effort at seeking joy. Last week I laughed so hard my belly hurt. I want more of that in my “real” life. Laugh more, stress less. Even if it’s just for a week, I give myself permission to seek joy.

If you follow my blog regularly, then you know Mondays are for free printables and Tuesdays are reserved for free scrapbooking templates. I promise those goodies will be posted this week, just a little later than usual (like tomorrow or Thursday). I hope to be back on schedule next week.
Also, the bracelet I’m wearing in the photo about is the creation of my dear friend Liz Lamoreux. I love, love her work. You can find her goodies here.
