Overzealous?
I was sitting on the couch today when Mike handed my his phone and said laughing "You have to read this." As I was reading the
Onion story he handed me, he added "It reminds me of you, all your online classes, chanting DO, DO, DO ... " He stopped talking, only because he was laughing too hard to say anything more. Laughing at me, I might add.
Do you think I might be coming off a little overzealous?
The headline of the story reads:
"Man Who Said 'Yes' To Life Found With Mountain Bike At Bottom Of Gorge."
I've been talking a lot lately about doing. Do is my word for 2012. If my husband sees me in the above mentioned story, maybe I'm over talking my word. I want my word and the corresponding actions to be organic. I want to "do" more and talk less. Maybe I need to rethink my approach? I know my husband was teasing me, but at the same time, there might be a little truth to what he's saying. I can be a little overbearing at times and often such zealousness can't be maintained long term. Anyone else finding they have sort of overwhelmed those around them with the excitement of their new word and the excitement of changes in 2012?
