LOAD Blog Hop {Feb. 2012}
Welcome to the LOAD 212 Blog Hop. You should have arrived from Monica's blog. If not, no worries. You can always keep hoping from here or go back to the beginning of the hop here.

I don't like using templates ... not because I think they're bad, but because they are harder for me to adapt to me needs. I prefer a blank slate.
I like simple, clean layouts.
I really like to use Impact (font) to create large titles for my pages. I create a sticker effect with the font. I use it on 80% of my layouts.
I love, love to put a stroke (border) around my photos, paper strips and even background paper. I used to resist it, but not anymore. It's my thing.

Even though Photoshop Elements might seem easier for others, it's not easier for me. I've always used Photoshop, it's what I know. When I tried to use Elements I nearly had a melt down.
All of these things I discovered after spending a month scrapbooking every, single day last February. I joined
Layout a Day with Lain Ehmann and it really was one of the best scrappy decisions I've ever made. If you ride a bike every single day, you become a pro. If you scrapbook every single day, you become a pro and discoverer your style. I never knew my scrappy style until I did LOAD. But after last February, I was able to see which products I grad the most, what styles I like the most, how I like to scrap ... and I totally became super comfortable with the idea with the idea that I am a digital scrapper.
Do yourself a favor, sign up. You'll love it. This will my 4th LOAD and I really can't wait to get started. There is so much you can learn about yourself and your scrapbooking process. It's so worth it.
And if you do sign up, make sure you prepare for the big event.

- Print (or select) photos to use.
- Get lots of extra adhesive.
- Pick some basic supplies you really, really want to use.
- Don't stress. Just do it. Every page you do is another story told. That's what matters.
Next up in the hop is Eileen. If you get lost along the way, here's a list of all the blogs participating in the hop:
