"Look Mom. It's Captain Pop."

A half-eaten suck flies by my face. 

"It's Captain Pop. He's giving children everywhere tooth decay. He's an evil man."

Shelby had taken her sucker's wrapper and turned it into a cape. She had her Captain Pop flying all over the room. It was a school holiday, so Shelby and Cooper were at home all day, left to entertain themselves and each other.

This is my girl. Full of imagination. Full of stories. Full of ideas. And not the least bit scared to share them with anyone who will listen. She sees things that I don't see. She's open to possibilities. I love this about her.

We could all learn a thing or two from her (and other kiddos).
