Riding on the range

A few weeks ago we went to a BBQ Cook Off out at Starr Pass Resort. Mike's brother Kelly had invited us to go with him and we don't turn down BBQ! The cook off was cool, but the REALLY cool part was the kids' area. The set up a whole area for kids with a bounce house, pony rides, crafts, games, face painting ... and it was ALL FREE!!! Shelby was in heaven. Serious heaven. And even Coop could play in the bounce house. If you're planning an event take a cue from the folks at Starr Pass ... if the kids are happy, then the parents are happy and we'll probably stay longer and spend more money.
