Flagstaff 2009

We went up to Flagstaff for a few days last week .. the day after Christmas to be exact. Jennie. Grammy and Stacey where up there, so we thought we'd join the fun. Shelby has been up there in the winter before, but this year she was more excited than ever to play in the snow.

Coop didn't seem to mind the cold weather, though he just sat outside and watched the big kids play and didn't actually touch the cold, cold snow.

We took all the kids to see "The Princess and the Frog." It sat in the row with all 6 kids and for a brief moment got to imagine what it would be like to have a lot more kids. I'll stick with two!

We got to stay at Jennie's new house, which is beyond fabulous. It's so beautiful. And of course, Jennie has decorated it perfectly.






Cooper and Gracie. Gracie is a little mama. She loves to take care of Cooper when he's around and endlessly dotes on him.



Shelby loving her snow time. She was fearless on the sled, going down the big hill. Even when it was time to go into town to pickup lunch, she wanted to keep playing. She and Abby stayed behind and kept working on their snowman.


Look at those cheeks. Coop hung out on the deck with Grammy, and watch the big kids sled, make snow angels and build a snowman. Emma was even buried in the snow.
