At the doctor's office


I took Shelby to see our doctor on Friday. She has a really bad cough and was generally not feeling well.

After the doctor came in and said hello, he asked her, "So Shelby, do your ears hurt."

Shelby responded, with her hands crossed across her chest and a very serious look on her face, "Weelllll doctor, here's the problem. I have a really bad cough and my nose is bothering me."

At that point both the doctor and I were cracking up. She can be so mature and funny for her four years!

By the way ... it was her ear. She had an ear infection.
